RON ARTMAN STUDIO
MODERN ARTIFACTS
A lifelong student of ancient archaeology, Ron Artman spent countless hours in his youth combing through the open expanses of the Great Lakes region. Driven by an endless curiosity to learn more about the ancient peoples with whom he felt a primal spiritual connection, the artist collected hundreds of artifacts, many of which would fit in the palm of his hand. Although Artman's own pieces are much grander in size than the arrowheads, tomahawks, and stone beads he uncovered, they serve as "modern artifacts" that captures the enduring passages of time that serve to remind us of our primal interconnectedness ~ with nature, with the ancient peoples who marked their paths before us, and our future.
